Around 100 years have passed since the events of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass and Wind Waker, and the descendants of that Link and Zelda are now living in a new land, also called Hyrule.
The two are thrown into a brand new adventure when a demonic imp named Cole steals Zelda's body away from her spirit in a plot to unleash an ancient evil known as Malladus. Link and Zelda's spirit must now team up to restore the powerful Spirit Tracks that kept Malladus imprisoned, and defeat this great evil once and for all!
